Through social media, Machado said that she had a conversation with the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, whom she thanked for the support offered by his government in granting asylum to six opponents in the embassy of his country in Caracas and confirmed that she is confident that Sunday will be a “civic feat.”
Milei, in response, assured that they are always with the Venezuelan people in their fight for freedom.

In addition, the spokesman for the Argentine Presidency, Manuel Adorni, considered this Friday that Venezuela is “getting closer to recovering full democracy” and reiterated his desire that “the right to vote be respected” in the elections on Sunday in the Caribbean country.
Adorni insisted on the Executive’s “unwavering commitment” to “electoral transparency, human rights and freedom of expression.”
“On the other hand, Adorni conveyed the Government’s discontent with a statement issued by the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo organization in support of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro ahead of the elections, in which they described President Javier Milei as a “fascist,” EFE reported.
