The women’s team achieved the passport to its fourth World Cup
Argentina managed this Friday to qualify for the World Cup for the fourth time in its history, after beating Paraguay in the match for third place in the Copa América, and will participate in the 2023 World Cup in Australia/New Zealand.
The National Team led by Germán Portanova will have its World Cup quota after the experiences in the Cups of the United States 2003, China 2007 and France 2019.
The goalkeeper and captain of the national team, Vanina Correa, was in all three and the coach was also repeated, who was always Carlos Borrello (succeeded this year by Portanova). Defender Gabriela Chávez played the 2007 and 2019 tournaments.
