Argentina has one year to put itself in order and maintain Category 1 in air safety

In a significant development for aviation Argentinathe Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States has granted Argentina a one-year extension to maintain its Category 1 in aviation safety.

This extension is crucial for Argentinasince it ensures that Argentine airlines can continue operating without restrictions on flights to and from the United States. Category 1 is the highest level of aviation safety granted by the FAA, meaning that a country’s civil aviation system meets international safety standards established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
