The Association of Banks of Mexico (ABM) reported that, in accordance with the general provision of the National Banking and Securities Commission that establishes non-business days in the financial sector, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on December 10 of 2020, heBanking institutions will suspend their operations to the public this Monday, February 7.
However, the ABM explained that the banks that offer their services in shopping centers and supermarkets will open to the public on this day, during traditional hours, despite the fact that it is a holiday.
In addition, banking customers have at their disposal more than 56,000 ATMs and 49,000 banking correspondents. Digital banking, electronic banking and telephone banking, which operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, will also be operating normally.
