Arce: “Venezuela has a great ally in Bolivia”

The president expressed his satisfaction with the signing of 13 cooperation agreements in energy, tourism, culture and education.

The president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Arce, was satisfied with the agreements reached with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolás Maduro, within the framework of the Third Venezuela-Bolivia Joint Integration Commission. The meeting between the two leaders took place at the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas.

Arce recognized the ancient and present common history that unites the governments and peoples of both countries and defended the brotherhood between the countries that were born in the heat of a continental revolution. “A lot of history, many years of foreign relations. You have to honor them. We want Venezuela to feel that it has a great ally in Bolivia,” said the president of the Andean country.

“We want to benefit our peoples in Bolivia and Venezuela, and we are sure that with this work that is being done, we will achieve it,” added Arce to celebrate the signing of important agreements with Venezuela.

Both presidents signed 13 strategic cooperation documents in oil, gas and petrochemical matters. They also signed commitment documents on tourism, culture and education.

Earlier, President Arce honored the father of the Nation, Simón Bolívar at the National Pantheon. “Venezuela has always been a brotherly and supportive country. We are here reaffirming our inclusive culture”, he pointed out.

The Bolivian leader hoped to consolidate bilateral relations between the two countries through these agreements, and thanked the Venezuelans for the hospitality they offered him during his stay in the country.
