President Luis Arce holds a bilateral meeting this Friday with his Peruvian counterpart, Pedro Castillo. Both coincide in Santiago de Chile, within the protocol acts for the inauguration of the new president Gabriel Boric.
The meeting began at 07:40 this Friday and will address various issues, such as give continuity to the binational cabinet meetings, the energy issue and the pollution of Lake Titicaca.
According to Peruvian media images, both presidents exchanged gifts and held a talk for half an hour. They were accompanied by their respective ministers.

The agenda contemplates that the president will also hold bilateral meetings with his peers from Argentina, Alberto Fernández, in addition to the initial meeting with the president-elect, Gabriel Boric.
