President Luis Arce This Friday he again questioned the national assembly members who do not approve credits and this time, he even called them “mank’agastos” (people who only spend food, in Aymara).
“There are assembly members, specifically senators, here from the Chuquisaca department itself, who are not approving an important loan” for this region, Arce said during a works delivery ceremony in the municipality of Poroma.
He assured that “there is It’s lucky that the government doesn’t move forward.” in improving the economy through the execution of new works for the benefit of the Bolivian people.
“They don’t want us to do (works) and then point the finger at us and tell us that the economy is failing because of us, when they are the ones who are paralyzing and strangling the economy,” he said.
“The people need works and for that we have to move forward.” passing laws (of credits) that they selfishly have stored there under their desk, andThese ‘mank’agastos’ who are not being able to do works, who are not doing anything by the Bolivian people, failing to comply with the mandate of the popular vote,” he added.
Since the ruling party, the Movement Towards Socialism (FURTHER), was divided between arcistas and evistas, the Arce administration can no longer easily approve different laws in the Legislative Assembly.
