Arajet starts flights to Mexico;  in November he goes to Jamaica

The Dominican airline arajet informed that it began its flights to Mexico and plans to begin its landings, on November 16, in Kingston, Jamaica.

Through a press release, the company, which is promoted for offering low prices, highlights that it celebrated its arrival in Aztec lands with its first flight to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), located in Mexico City, during an event that was supported by the Secretary of Tourism of that country, Miguel Torruco.

As reported, the airline has three weekly flight frequencies: Monday, Thursday and Saturday, departing from 7:15 am and arriving at 10:40 am.

arajet It adds that in search of “democratizing” the airline industry in the region, its purpose is to complete its connection offer between Mexico and the Dominican Republic by opening two additional routes.

In this way, it details that it contemplates offering air flights, from next Friday, September 30, to Monterrey, with two weekly frequencies: Tuesday and Friday, departing at 7:15 a.m. and arriving at 11:05 a.m.

Likewise, it foresees landings to Cancun with three weekly frequencies: on Tuesdays and Fridays, leaving at 6:45 p.m. and landing at 8:40 p.m. Meanwhile, on Sundays, it plans departures to that Mexican city at 5:20 p.m., arriving at 7:10 p.m.

Regarding the planned flights to Jamaica, which will begin on November 16, the company reported that it plans to offer two weekly frequencies; with departures on Mondays at 6:40 p.m., arriving at 9:05 p.m. Also, on Wednesday, leaving at 5:20 p.m. and arriving at 8:50 p.m.

As part of his plans, arajet informed that it will start its operations in Guatemala City on Wednesday the 28th of this month, with two weekly frequencies: Wednesday and Sunday, with departure scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and arrival at 9:15 a.m.

Through the press release, it is highlighted that the CEO and founder of arajetVíctor Pacheco Méndez, stated: “These markets are transcendental for the tourism and air industry, so venturing into these new and direct routes in such emblematic destinations represents a unique opportunity to boost visitor traffic for the benefit of economic development, tourism , commercial and cultural between both countries”.

The Dominican airline details that it has an initial fleet of five new aircraft, type Boeing 737 MAX-8, of the latest generation, which promises to offer a comfortable and safe flight experience.

These planes have a cabin made up of 185 reclining seats, which ensures maximum comfort and sufficient personal space.
