Arab Progressive Front condemns Venezuela

A delegation of the Progressive Arab Front (FAP), within the framework of its Third Regional Congress held in Hammamet, went to the embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Tunisia to express its firm solidarity with the Venezuelan people and its rejection of the tactics of intervention and regime change promoted by the United States against the homeland of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, VTV notes.

During the meeting with the Venezuelan ambassador, Reinaldo Bolívar, the FAP delegation expressed its rejection of any interference in the internal affairs of free, democratic and sovereign countries. Furthermore, the brotherhoods between the Palestinian and Venezuelan causes were highlighted, united by the same objective of liberation and dignity of the peoples of the world.

The Venezuelan ambassador thanked the FAP for its support and recounted the latest events and actions of the United States to intensify its objectives against Venezuela, which includes involving Caribbean governments, such as Trinidad and Tobago.

He highlighted that the US government needs Venezuelan oil for its refineries and, instead of doing fair trade with the South American country, it intends to return to the surrenderist policy of the governments prior to the Bolivarian Revolution that began in 1998 under the leadership of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías.

The delegation of the Progressive Arab Front was made up of Ali Boutouala, Mohamed Raqi and Lobna Helmaoui, from the Federation of the Democratic Left of Morocco; Khaled Ouda and Imad Abu Ramez, of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine; Zouhair Hamdi, Abdelmajid Al-Ajimi and Ali Zaghdoud, of the Popular Current Party (Tunisia).

The FAP brings together political organizations from North Africa and Western Asia. Its main objectives are to confront the Zionist enemy, promote the culture of resistance to liberate Palestine and confront imperialist interventions in the affairs of Arab countries.
