Apurímac: four dead and three injured left a minivan on the Talavera – Ocobamba route

Four dead and three injured left the mistake of a minivan on the Talavera – Ocobamba route, in Andahuaylas, in the Apurímac region, this morning.

According to RPP Noticias, among the deceased is the candidate for mayor of the Talavera district, Abel Ortega Pérez, from the Somos Perú party.

According to police information, the vehicle left the province of Andahuaylas in the direction of the district of Ocobamaba, in the province of Chincheros, where the unit lost its way and fell into a 300-meter abyss.

The other three fatalities were identified as David Cecce Urrutia, Isabel Vilchez Arango and Elizabeth Vilchez Pucadriver of the minivan.

Regional media detailed that all the passengers in the unit were teachers who were moving to their work centers.

Representatives of the Public Ministry arrived at the scene for the corresponding proceedings. The identity of the injured and their medical condition are unknown at this time.
