It is necessary to highlight that the election of the presidential slate that the APRA party will represent will have a unique election method. That is, its more than 50,000 members will be in charge of deciding, while in other parties only the delegates vote.

Registration occurs after the JNE approved the reincorporation of 11,000 APRA militants that were removed from the registry by administrative acts of the National Directorate of Registration of Political Organizations (DNROP). On September 17, the electoral body declared the sanctions against the political organization null and void.

Among those affected were historical figures of the party, such as Javier Velasquez QuesquénRenzo Ibáñez and Pilar Noresamong other militants of the star party; Their reinstatement reorganizes the registry and allows their participation in the phase prior to the election of candidates.
