The National Assembly (AN) approved this Thursday in its first discussion the Project to Reform the Organic Law of the Communal Economic System.
In debate from the Protocol Chamber, the deputy Juan Carlos Sierra presented the reform project on ANTV broadcast.
“This reform is for the strengthening of Popular Power and the productive activity of the nation, which facilitates mechanisms to establish new productive schemes derived from daily struggles and collective effort,” Sierra explained.
The legislator stated that the reform raises 14 articles aimed at giving strength to each community that has worked to keep the productive economy of the country active.
For his part, the deputy Jesús Farías asserted that with the reform of this law the rest of the Venezuelan legislature is consolidated.
He expressed that the proposal with the reform focuses on a model where the people own the means of productionwhere the State promotes all productive initiatives for the development of the country, reports AVN.
“We cannot exclude the people from the solutions of the country’s economic agenda,” he stressed.
This law in force in Venezuela, since December 2010, aims to develop and strengthen Popular Power, establishing the norms, principles and procedures for the creation, operation and development of the communal economic system, made up of socio-productive organizations under the communal social property regime. for the production, distribution, exchange and consumption of goods and services.
