The National Assembly approved this Tuesday the first discussion of the Special Law Project for Agricultural Workers.
With this instrument, five chapters seek to explain the importance of agriculture in the country, in addition to recognizing agricultural workers who provide personal services and regulating the existing relationship between owners and agricultural workers, the deputies assured during the debate.
Deputy José Gregorio Colmenares presented the bill to the board of directors and explained that “since the arrival of the Revolution there have been many advances in terms of public politics for agriculture”
For her part, deputy Anyeli Tamayo, from the Democratic Alliance, said that this project is one of the most important laws of parliament.
“It is time that we guarantee your social and labor securityin addition to guaranteeing their rights as workers who have been affected in recent years.
Likewise, the deputy Luz Chacón, explained that that sector of the population that during the economic war attended the demand of the Venezuelans deserves a vindication from the parliament.
“In addition to strengthening the legal reorganization, we are giving him the opportunity to ensure his work honestly,” he added.
