This Tuesday, in Ordinary Session, the National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved the Draft Agreement to commemorate the 48th Anniversary of Bilateral Relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
In the activity, the deputy of the AN, Nicolás Maduro Guerra and president of the Venezuela-China Parliamentary Friendship Group, pointed out that the relationship between these two sister republics has transcended, thanks to the visit made by the president of China, Xi Jinping, in 2014, where President Nicolás Maduro Moros signed an international strategic alliance, which today is reaping its fruits.
“For us, it is very important, as Parliament, to ratify our commitment, inescapable with the Chinese cause, with multilateralism and with the commitment that this relationship be deeply consolidated at the parliamentary level,” said the deputy.

For his part, the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Li Baorong, stated that today “when the 48th Anniversary of Bilateral Relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is celebrated, we give thanks for the great contributions that the Government and the Bolivarian People have given us, to enrich relations between both countries.
The Chinese ambassador stressed that “this year, in the month of July, we will celebrate the eight years of the establishment of the China-Venezuela comprehensive strategic partnership, which was announced when President Xi Jinping was on tour here in Venezuela. And today we can affirm that we are in the best moment in history between both nations.
