This Tuesday in an ordinary session of the National Assembly, the Draft Agreement was approved in commemoration of the 239 years on the occasion of the anniversary of the Birth of the Liberator Simón Bolívar199 years of the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo and Day of the Bolivarian National Navy.
Deputy Giuseppe Alessandrello was in charge of presenting the Draft Agreement and highlighted the heroic courage of the Liberator and called for recognition of his anti-imperialist streak.
Deputies, deputies today more than ever we must be aware of the historical moment that we have had to live. We are anti-imperialist in nature and we must honor those who with intelligence and patriotism defended our freedom”, he said.
Similarly, deputy Alfonso Campos highlighted the universality of the meaning of the Liberator Simón Bolívar for the peoples of the world.
