Sheinbaum acknowledged that the new president of the Supreme Court has stood out for defending the rights of women and minorities; however, she pointed out that she has also voted against issues promoted by the president of Mexico and founder of Morena, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

“She is a woman who defends women’s rights, that must be recognized, she has established it at different times, the right to decide; She has expressed her opinion at different times on issues of violence against women.

“There will be others who may not agree, as the president raised today, there are issues where she has voted against what we think, such as the electrical issue,” said the head of government.

It is evident that there is progress, and it is very important for the country, that there be a woman president of the Supreme Court, but there are also other issues that, as Proyecto Nación, we are interested in seeing progress in the country.
