The president of the Electoral Nominations Committee 2023deputy Giusseppe Alessandrello, announced this Wednesday that the application process to hold the posts of rectors of the National Electoral Council (CNE), will end on July 18.
During the AN session, Alessandrello recalled that this process began on July 4, and that there is a “large number of applications”
Similarly, he recalled that those who wish to be part of the process can deposit their documents in the AN building from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including Saturday and Sunday.
“We are at that time every day of the week, I wanted to make that invitation, that this important process ends on the 18th of this month,” stressed the president of the Nominations Committee.
It should be remembered that the requirements are established Organic Law of the Electoral Power the Rectors and the Electoral Rectors.
Among the requirements is to be Venezuelan or Venezuelan, over thirty (30) years of age and be in full enjoyment of their civil and political rights.
In the case of being Venezuelans or Venezuelans by naturalization, at least fifteen (15) years must have elapsed since obtaining nationality.
Another of the necessary requirements is to have obtained a university degree; have at least ten (10) years of graduation and have been in professional practice or activity during the same period.
Preferably, have experience or postgraduate studies in the electoral area or in related subjects.
Draft Agreement in commemoration of the birth of Argelia Laya
During the session, the deputy to the AN, Ligia Machado, presented the draft agreement in commemoration of the 97th anniversary of the birth of Argelia Laya.
In his participation in the ordinary session, Machado highlighted Laya’s training struggle in search of justice and social equality.
In this regard, he highlighted the approval of 61 laws, which aim to satisfy the attention of the people.
“We must continue deepening our transformation. We have a beastly war, with more than 900 sanctions. The poor, the blacks, have resisted a blockade, but we have not resisted corruption”, stressed Machado.
“We still have a lot to build, so that comfort spaces do not harm the training processes. Values must be strengthened to continue promoting the revolution,” he added.
On the other hand, he called on the Venezuelan people to be deceived by “they are sold by the country” who say that they will “improve the quality of life” but have requested all sanctions against the people and – while his management against the AN – sought to eliminate the laws and programs directed to the people.
