APEC: Ministry of Health announces that medical appointments from November 14 to 16 will be rescheduled

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced that, due to the APEC summit, health facilities in Metropolitan Lima will only serve critical areas such as emergencies and hospitalization from November 14 to 16, while scheduled appointments will be rescheduled.

During the previous days, from the 11th to the 13th, medical centers will operate normally, since the health sector is considered an essential service.

This measure follows the decree that declares non-working days in Lima and Callao to facilitate the organization of the international event.

We remember that, through a supreme decree published this Friday in the official gazette The Peruvianthe Government declared November 14, 15 and 16 as non-working days for the public and private sectors in Metropolitan Lima, the province of Huaral and the Constitutional Province of Callao.
