Antuaneth Inga, 12 years old, presented her book called ‘Mike the Rabbit’ at the VIII Bicentennial Book Fair, in the city of Huancayo. The young writer said that her work is a reflection on animal abuse, a latent problem in our society.

The inspiration for the book came when Antuaneth Inga lost a pet, “When I was 6 years old my pet died and I realized that I took good care of it”Writing was a form of mourning for her; she wrote three stories with different characters and presented them in a competition at her school.

The work presented by Antuaneth was chosen as the winner, after which a publishing house became interested in the book and now it has been launched at the VIII Book Fair. Due to the success of his first work, he announced that he is currently working on his second book, based on the feelings of a teenager.
