Distances and time may lengthen, but with victory, strength is recovered and convictions are strengthened, and that condition allows us to move forward.
That President Andrés Manuel López Obrador took power in 2018 by our decision is the clearest example of what can be achieved when people rise up against oligarchic and corrupt oppression. First there will be 10, then 100, later a thousand and, finally, the millions that will allow us to move forward and not turn back. Although always taking risks, the necessary attempts are worth it.
The first thing is to gather all the strength possible to organize, observe and analyze the selected path – as in a minefield – to avoid making mistakes. The important thing is not to succumb
We believe that something similar happened to us in 2006, then in 2012, until in 2018 we already had experience of how to get up after constant low blows, such as electoral fraud, both by the PRI and the PAN.
And so, with organization and will, the ideals began to take shape and add strength. That is why leadership is so important. A method that the ignorant confuse with caudillism, tropical messianism, manipulated political spontaneism, rock populism, chairism In short, I create all kinds of qualifiers that attack the collective and individual intelligence of the majority that is assumed to be left. In any case, indoctrinated imbeciles are those who imagine they belong to the upper and exclusive social class, but they are not.
This is how social movements, unions, libertarian leagues, the best revolutions arise. and we say the best
because they are the ones who have sown valuable seeds. We know that we will not see the results overnight. And if someone expects this, they are not talking about a true revolution, they are talking about a spontaneous movement.
We believe that the general idea is that once a revolution has triumphed, the goal has already been reached and there are no major objectives moving forward. But the reality is that the changes are just beginning. This is how we glimpse the revolution of consciousness.
Without a doubt, social consciousness is part of the driving force of the movement. And when first base has been reached, the need arises to continue moving forward and leave behind that evil past that has violated so many human rights and claimed so many lives.
Changing the reality of our country was the first objective of this path towards a true and definitive transformation. That was the highly appreciated wish decades ago.
Perhaps not even in our dreams do we think of walking among thousands toward the same goal. But in 2018 it was not only among thousands, but among more than 30 million voters, who walked towards the daring of discarding our fears for effective votes for change. The neoliberal checkpoints were broken, this fact is a truth that over six years they never accepted the millions who did not vote for the Fourth Transformation.
In a short time, the successes began to arrive. Those who look with a microscope for the flaws of the Worker period will find several of them, but these do not invalidate the multiple and important works that were done in just six years. We repeat… in just six years.
We emphasize that one of the most influential instruments that outlined the governing style of President Andrés Manuel, definitely, were the morning conferences, or those popularly known as morning conferences. During the six-year term they became true trenches against disinformation from the media that have traditionally distorted reality, in an attempt to continue dominating society’s criteria and avoid, at any cost, the formation of an objective public opinion. In addition to this effort by the current government, there were social networks to support the task of the morning sessions and to introduce the practice of analyzing what happens around the 4T among the population.
We do not ignore the right of people who think otherwise than what has been said above. For the other millions who voted against President López Obrador, the six-year term that is ending has been a farce. However, history is marking a different panorama. We agree with José Antonio Marina Torres, a Spanish philosopher who believes that not all opinions are respectable: What is respectable is the right to give an opinion, but not all opinions deserve our respect.
. We fully agree with Maestro Marina, since it is not logical to accept the tons of lies that the so-called information media have produced, not only in this six-year term, but since journalism was kidnapped by the usual oligarchies.
In a few hours, practically, the six-year term of Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum will begin. We cannot say goodbye, President López Obrador, among revolutionaries there are no goodbyes. As of last June 2, we are more than 36 million dreaming people who will continue seeking the much-needed transformation of the country.
