“We all have to reject that there are children separated from their mother for a migratory issue, that is criminal, we are going to call it by name that is a criminal act,” said the deputy elected by the Pencil Alliance Party, Antonio Ecarri, when consulted by the kidnapping of Venezuelan children by the United States government.

He affirmed, during the Program, transmitted by Venezolana de Televisión, that the separation of a child from his mother by a migratory process violates any International Human Rights Convention, said that a consensus must be built and reject that type of crime against kidnapped children.

He questioned who can be in favor of that? “Even Pope Leo XIV, he said it, there are simply things in which we all have to build in consensus and one of that is to reject that criminal act.”

When asked about why there is an opposition sector that says nothing about it, Ecarri said “it is something that cannot be understood, I do not fit in my head, we are a country with an inclusive culture and that kind of injustice must be rejected.”

It should be noted that John Mcnamara, head of business of the United States in Colombia, is pointed out as the “material author” of this situation, which is described as illegal and immoral, that is why the Government of Venezuela demanded immediate release and without conditions of minors so that they can meet with their families.
