Registration for 2026 is now open in Antioquia for new and returning students in official schools.
The Antioquia Ministry of Education opened the 2026 enrollment process in the 116 non-certified municipalities. Parents and guardians can register children and young people in official institutions until November 30.
With the purpose of guaranteeing that no child or adolescent in the department of Antioquia is left out of the educational system and that everyone can access quality public education.
The Ministry of Education reported that Registration is now open for the 2026 school year, in the official educational institutions of the department. This call is aimed at early childhood, basic and secondary education students.
The Secretary of Education (e) Manuel Alejandro Naranjo, invited parents to approach the institutions in the 116 non-certified municipalities.
“Registrations are open in the 116 non-certified municipalities of the Department of Antioquia. Parents and guardians are very invited to accompany children and young people to carry out their registration process in the different educational institutions of the department.”

By the year 2026, lThe Ministry of Education projects an enrollment of 381,147 students in the official sector and 26,948 in the unofficial sector, distributed in the 116 non-certified municipalities of the department. The academic calendar will begin on Monday, January 19 and will end on November 29, 2026.
As part of its commitment to school access and permanence, the Government will continue to implement complementary programs such as the School Feeding Program (PAE), Extended Day, student transportation and other strategies aimed at reducing school dropouts.

“From the Ministry of Education of Antioquia, we guide and accompany the municipalities in complementary programs for educational permanence”, was what the Secretary of Education (e) Manuel Alejandro Naranjo stated.
The Ministry of Education reminds that The registration process is free and does not require intermediaries. Registration will be open until November 30 for new students and from December 1 for old students.
