Santo Domingo.- A high pressure system or anticyclone will limit the activity of rain starting this Wednesday, while the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported that it continues to monitor an area of downpours located east of the Lesser Antilles, which could become a tropical depression this week.
Meteorology explained that the rain activity, caused by a trough located over the country, will begin to decrease in the next 24 hours, as a result of the arrival of the anticyclone.
The agency added that only in the southwestern provinces short-term downpours could be recorded, but that in the other regions the environment will be without rain.
