Anticyclone will limit rain activity starting this Tuesday

Santo Domingo.- A high pressure system will limit the possibility of rain starting this Tuesday, but in some areas precipitation will continue to occur due to the remnants of a trough.

This was reported on Monday by the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet).

The agency forecast that, despite the arrival of the anticyclone, showers will be recorded over the provinces of Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Monte Plata and the northern part of San Pedro de Macorís.

In addition, in Juan Sanchez Ramirez, Monsignor Nouel, La Vega, Santiago de los Caballeros, Elias Pine, Dajabon, Santiago Rodriguez, Valverde, Espaillat and Mirabal Sisters.

The Meteorological Service also reported that it is monitoring a rainy area located west of the Cape Verde coast, which could develop somewhat in seven days.
