Santo Domingo.- A high pressure system will limit the activity of downpours in the next 48 hours, although showers are not ruled out in mountainous areas and provinces located on the Atlantic coast, due to the presence of a cold front, the Institute reported this Sunday. The agency reported that a large part of the Dominican territory will remain partly cloudy, but that the high pressure system or anticyclone will limit the formation of clouds that could generate significant rainfall.

Finally, he clarified that tropical storm Sara, number 18 of the hurricane season in the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, does not pose a danger to the Dominican Republic, due to its location.
