At the facilities of the National Anti-Drug Command, an important meeting was held with representatives of the Anti-Drug Task Force, where the statistical advances achieved to date in the year 2025 were highlighted, as well as the planning of the strategic actions that will be implemented to intensify the fight against illicit drug trafficking in the territory during the next year 2026.
These types of meetings have been essential to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation and establish a coordinated approach that allows us to effectively address the challenges presented by drug trafficking.
The interaction between these entities is essential to develop more effective strategies and ensure a safer future throughout the Venezuelan territory and guarantee immediacy in the processes.
Various key institutions in the fight against drugs participated in this meeting, which included the National Anti-Drug Command of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), People’s Guard, Coastal Surveillance of the GNB, the Comprehensive Aerospace Defense Command (CODAI), the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Popular Power for Defense, the director of the EMI, Strategic Operations Group (GOES) and the Anti-Drug director of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps. (CICPC).
Also present was Dr. Antonio Guerrero, who has recently been appointed as anti-drug director of the Public Ministry (MP), thus joining this global fight against the drug problem.
