Anti-corruption president evaluates her exile after threats for asking to investigate Adán Augusto

At the end of last year, after it was revealed that López Hernández had not declared millions of pesos to the Tax Administration Service (SAT), Pérez called the corresponding authorities to investigate.

”It has been complicated because there have been many voices telling me that I should remain silent, that I should be careful, veiled threats regarding my safety,” the official said during the interview.

”There is a lot of concern because it seems that in this country nothing outrages us. We have a senator who has inconsistencies in his statements and who may have ties to a criminal group and nothing happens,” he added.

Adán Augusto López has been accused of putting Hernán Bermúdez Requena in charge of Tabasco security, who turned out to lead La Barredora, a criminal group that originated as the armed wing of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
