At the National Athletics Championships, held in Cali, the Guajiro athlete has just achieved first place in the 400 meters flat with 46.15 seconds. He expressed happiness on his social networks and Anthony Zambrano’s place in Paris 2024 was in doubt until the last minute.

Zambrano’s career

Anthony Zambrano was one of five athletes to win a medal at the recent Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as the Colombian ran the 400-meter dash in 44.08 seconds.

Bahamas competitor Steven Gardiner was crowned champion with a time of 43.85 and Kirani James of Grenada completed the podium in the competition with 44.19.
