In a press conference, the ethnocacerista leader Antauro Humala criticized the Supreme Court ruling that outlaws the ANTAURO party
Humala announced that he would deliver his lawyers’ appeal today.
Furthermore, the ethnocacerista criticized that some media and congressmen have celebrated the sentence, reiterating his speech of changing the Constitution and shooting the former presidents.
“Of course we are going to continue, we are alive and well,” Humala insisted. “We are going to win the second instance, this is not even going to reach the TC.” Then, he stated that the party has overcome an internal dispute and that they are not thinking about alliances until April 2025.
Finally, he criticized the Attorney General’s Office and the judges who have given their opinion on the ruling against him. He dedicated special emphasis to harshly criticizing the former president of the TC, Víctor García Toma, for his statements regarding the sentence that disqualifies ANTAURO, even challenging him to a debate.
