This Sunday, April 3, the more than 42,000 adherents of the party in formation Movement Another Path (MOCA) will elect their leaders,
In 86 voting centers, the Electoral Court will install 135 tables that will open from 7:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon when the electoral process ends in which 313 MOCA leaders will be chosen.
Despite the fact that the leaders of this Movement have been questioned for going from independents to a political party, this Sunday they assure that everything will be done in order and with transparency.
Ricardo Lombana, founder of MOCA, assured through his Twitter account that some insist on criticizing his move to party, misrepresenting his words to confuse the public. “I never said that political parties were bad, but the corrupt leadership of many of them. Balancing the rules of the electoral game was necessary”, he stated.
“Just as we have always shown on every tour, in every meeting, in every action taken. The organization, responsibility and the values that define us as a party will not be lacking this weekend”, he specified.
During tomorrow’s vote, 19,512 women and 22,948 men must go to the polls, according to the electoral register of the National Elections Directorate.
