During the early morning hours, a chase was recorded against a family traveling in a unit on California Boulevard, northeast of Culiacán.
According to the first reports, a group of men chased the father of the family, who was driving a Toyota Yaris, and murdered him. The three minors who accompanied him were injured.
The man was identified as Antonio de Jesús “N”, approximately 40 years old, who was left lifeless on the street in front of the new Culiacán General Hospital (HGC).
In the car, the injured minors were found, who were identified as Gael Antonio “N”, 12 years old; Luis Adolfo “N”, 17, and Alexander “N”, 9; The three were transferred to different hospitals in the city.
In another case, in the Real del Valle de Culiacán subdivision, a man was murdered in a seafood restaurant and another in his home in the Jesús Osuna neighborhood.
On Saturday night, the lifeless body of a person was also found on the Mazatlán-Culiacán free highway, at kilometer 44.
Additionally, in the Prado Bonito subdivision, two people were injured after an armed attack.
On Saturday morning, two ambushes by armed civilians on National Guard personnel were reported, which led to the arrests of perpetrators of violence.
Following the events recorded in the communities of San Francisquito, in Mazatlán, seven people were arrested, in addition to an arsenal being seized in the Estación Obispo community, in Culiacán
The seizure included 22 firearms, including two machine guns, grenades, 218 magazines, an explosive device and 3,313 useful cartridges, in addition to 23 vehicles, two of them armored.
Elements of the Army, the National Guard and the State Police carried out a search for the rest of the armed civilians who participated in the attack, which resulted in 19 more vehicles being located, two of them armored; nine firearms and six pistols.
The second attack occurred in the Estación Obispo community, in Culiacán, where four people were captured; Three trucks, seven automatic rifles, supplied magazines, useful cartridges and various portions of drugs were seized.
This Sunday morning, Governor Rubén Rocha Moya referred to the arrest of Juan Carlos “N”, known as “El Chavo Félix”, which occurred during an operation carried out by federal forces in the Quilá district office, in Culiacán.
All arrests of people who generate violence help reduce insecurity, declared the president.
He recognized the work of the security operation in which the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), National Guard, the State Police, and Secretary of the Navy (Semar) participate.
“All the arrests of people who generate violence help us reduce insecurity. In Mazatlán three were detained, here in Culiacán one person was detained, who is the one you are referring to. All the generators of violence are arrested, which is why we already have more than 300 detainees,” he added.
