Another protester is run over on the second day of strike in the Junín region

A new victim of an outrage was registered in the Pilcomayo square, in the province of Huancayo, Junín region, during the second day of the strike that farmers, ranchers and heavy load drivers abide by. The incident happened when the protesters blocked the passage of a truck with license plate W2I-419 whose tire they wanted to puncture, it backed up running over a man. After the incident, the van fled.

The National Police deployed patrols to locate and capture the driver of said vehicle. The wounded man was helped by agents from the Chupaca police station.

As recalled yesterday afternoon, a Pronoei teacher was run over by a unit in the same circumstances in the province of Concepción. The woman identified as Candy Hinostroza De la Cruz (31) died from the severity of her injuries, leaving three minor children orphaned.
