The presidential delegate

In the case of the representatives of the Executive it is more complex, because these members do not have a substitute. According to the Political Constitution of the State (CPE) and the Electoral Regime Law The members are appointed for six years and can only be replaced by resignation, lawsuits or death.

Salvador Romero Ballivian He was the member appointed by Áñez and the president Luis Arce could not dismiss him. Upon the resignation of the member, the Executive appointed Dina Chuquimia as its representative and when he did not like the work of the member, he chose to replace her and took possession of Gustavo Ávila on April 4 of this year.

In such a way that The Executive quota in the TSE had three members. Chuquimia is currently exhausting internal instances in search of asserting its rights, because it considers that it was removed illegally, which is why it aims to turn to international justice.
