The Cicpc reported on the capture in Chacao (Miranda) of Edison Luis Hernández Aguilera (26), after demonstrating his participation in a kidnapping that occurred on December 27 on Los Jabillos street, El Cementerio sector, Santa Rosalía parish, Caracas.
Through film analysis and field investigations, it was determined that Edison, along with other antisocials, had approached the victim and several of his workers when leaving his commercial establishment, where, under death threats and aboard a Fortuner vehicle, they took them to different areas of downtown Caracas, until finally leaving them abandoned in San Agustín del Norte, after depriving them of 45 thousand dollars, the police report says.
Subsequently, these antisocials left the victim’s vehicle abandoned in Quinta Crespo, being recovered by members of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), who arrested one of the criminals and recovered another vehicle, used as a means of committing the act.
