Another falls due to theft of Edesur meters; they give him preventive detention

The Judicial Office of Permanent Care Services of Santo Domingo Oeste imposed three months of preventive detention as measure of coercion against Pablo Saturnino Matías Sosawho becomes the fourth defendant to whom in less than a month they dictate that measure of coercion for the alleged meter theft electrical, property of Dominican Edesur.

According to a press release, the court ruled that the measure of coercion be fulfilled in the Correction Center and Rehabilitation Najayo-Men (CCR).

During the hearing, the Public Ministry presented as evidence a record containing the elements and instruments seized from the accused on the twenty-first (21st) day of the current month, as part of the investigation proceedings in progress.

What actions has Edesur taken?

  • From the October 20there are four defendants who have been sent to prison for the alleged accusation meter theft owned by Edesur.

The electricity distribution company, according to the note, reiterates its commitment to collaborate with the competent authorities within the framework of the judicial processes that seek the protection of public goods and the security of the national electrical system, as well as the appropriate sanction, with strict adherence to the law.
