Another 15 people arrested for drug trafficking in the framework of Operation Maleficent 4.0

Fifteen people arrested in 25 raids carried out this Tuesday is the balance of the actions carried out within the framework of Operation Maleficent 4.0 led by Rosario Prosecutor Sandra Fleitas together with the Colonia Departmental Anti-Drug Brigade.

In the police procedures that took place this morning and were carried out in Canelones, Montevideo, Rivera and Maldonado, several types of drugs were seized, such as hashish, LSD, marijuana, psychoactives and BHO (butane hashish oil concentrate ). In addition, weapons, ammunition, money and three cars were found.

The organization seemed to have its operational base in Maldonado, and according to Underlined, the ringleader lived in a mansion in Punta del Este.

The other leader of the organization was the owner of a grow shop in the Old City of Montevideo.

Among the detainees there are Uruguayans, Argentines, Brazilians and Italians. Prosecutor Fleitas is expected to formalize those involved in the maneuvers this Wednesday.
