MIAMI, United States. – The Cuban broadcaster Yunior Morales, known for his criticism of the regime and the rulers of the Island, denounced this Sunday the prison threats received, especially after the approval of the new penal code.
In a direct from facebookMorales shared an anonymous phone call that, with a robotic voice, threatens him: “Now you are going to lose your folds in jail, fagot.”
“I realize we’re in the wrong hands, especially when I get a call like that,” he said. “What a coincidence that now that I publish all this about the threat, about the Penal Code, [de la amenaza de] Possibly accuse me of contempt – contempt I don’t know why – now the call comes in again, “he added.
Just a day before, Morales assured on Facebook who had been threatened with the application of the new Penal Code. “They noticed that he had crossed the line and [que] They could take measures with me, such as accusing me of contempt,” he explained.
In his direct message this Sunday, he added that he was not afraid of the consequences of his criticism of the regime. “Do you think I am afraid? No. I am vulnerable, a simple mortal, a Cuban citizen who has an opinion, who has his criteria. You don’t like my judgment because I don’t say what you guys want to hear?” he asked.

Finally, he said that, although he has not fired a shot or planted a bomb, he receives threats. “I have only shown ideas for the good of my country, for the good of my people at the risk of these things happening,” he concluded.
The Cuban regime has prohibited Morales from working live since September 11, 2020.
“I was grateful when everything political was taken away from me, but I am an announcer for Cuban Radio and Television making home recordings.
