A new internal dispute in the political alliance Creemos was generated this Thursday, after the announcement of the head of the bench in Deputies, Óscar Michel, about the call for applicants for internal voting that allow the next election of the board of directors of the Parliamentary Brigade of Santa Cruz.
Michel announced that, “in compliance with the legitimacy and legality that belongs to Creemos”, the nominations and election to the presidency and first secretary must be subject to the call issued by the bank headquarters, both in Deputies and Senators.
“Anyone who does not win their nomination, within the internal election of Creemos, and wants to be elected by the other political forces are functional to the government party.” the deputy emphasized.
He affirmed that, in the following days, all the parliamentarians elected by Santa Cruz will be summoned, so that they can be postulated within the framework of what is established in the internal code of this political force.
“The first political force in Santa Cruz is Creemos, so we corresponds to place the Presidency and the First Secretary“, accurate.
However, this announcement was not well received by Deputy Leonardo Fabián Ayala (Beni), who claims to be the head of the national bench. He said that does not know the call and that it lacks legalitysince it was not carried out by consensus within the alliance.
“Óscar Michel is a simple deputy from Santa Cruz; the head of the national bench elected and recognized is my person. I was surprised, today (Thursday), that he calls for a supposed internal party election to choose a candidate; This is totally illegal and we, as an alliance, are unaware of said call,” Ayala said.
“We are tired (of) that they continue to manipulate public opinion, saying that those who do not participate -like them, who receive lines from Walter Chávez, until now- are traitorous parliamentarians of our alliance; our alliance is national and represents Beni, Pando and Santa Cruz”, he added.
The Creemos alliance has been divided in the Plurinational Legislative Assembly (ALP) for control of the head of the national bench, since November of last year, when the party leader, Luis Fernando Camacho, installed Michel as head of the bench and, in parallel , another faction chose Ayala.
