Santo Domingo.- The 210th anniversary of the birth of Juan Pablo Duarte will be celebrated with various activities on January 26 organized by the Duartiano Institute.
The activities begin at 8:00 in the morning with the raising of the national flag at the home of the Duarte-Díez family, on Calle Elizabeth the Catholicwith the interpretation of the national anthem, by the music band of the Fire Department of the National District.
Juan Pablo Duarte was born on January 26, 1813, in the city of Santo Domingo.
At 8:30 in the morning, floral offerings will be deposited at the Duartiano Institute and the Ministry of Defense, in Duarte Park, where the national and Duarte anthems will be sung by a military music band.

At 9:00 in the morning, the traditional religious service will take place in the First Cathedral of America, and then, at 11:00 in the morning, a floral offering will be deposited at the Altar de la Patria, in the Parque Independencia .
The activities will continue at 1:00 in the afternoon, with the celebration of the second anniversary of the airing of the virtual station “Radio Patria, the voice of Duarte”, in the auditorium of the Duartiano Institute headquarters, on Calle Isabel the Catholic. There, a plaque of recognition of the television program “El show de mediodía” will be delivered.
This same day, Thursday, January 26, at 7:30 p.m., the show “I show you my homeland” will be presented in the Patriotic Square of the Duartiano Institute, by the National Lyric Company of the General Directorate of Fine Arts. , occasion in which privileged voices of the country will honor the Patrician in his same family home.
The next day, Friday January 27, at 7:30 pm, also in the Patriotic Square, the staging of the artistic-literary act is scheduled: “A story, poetry and song of Duarte”, by the writers Manuel Núñez and José Miguel Soto Jiménez, and doctor Rafael Vólquez, member of the Duartiano Institute.
On Sunday, January 29, starting at nine in the morning, the Duartiano Institute will participate in the patriotic exhibition that, in support of the Duartiano date, will take place at the Club de Autos Antiguos y Clásicos de la República Dominicana (CAACRD). ), at Club Falcondo, in Bonao; there, patriotic material will be distributed by Dr. Rafael Vólquez.
Parallel to these activities, the centers and affiliates, organic representations of the Duartiano Institute inside and outside, respectively, will make offerings, talks, meetings and other activities.
