One of the most striking is the Casa del Maestro Rochi, a themed space inspired by the iconic Kame House from Dragon Ball, which has become a must-see for anime lovers visiting the Colombian Caribbean. Although many know it as the House of Master Rochi, it is actually a thematic version of the Kame House, adapted with an aesthetic inspired by Dragon Ball. The Casa del Maestro Rochi is located in San Andrés, very close to Rocky Cay beach, one of the most visited areas of the island. It is easily accessible and can be reached by local tours or tourist transportation, even with a themed experience that simulates transportation on the “flying cloud,” one of the most remembered elements of the anime.
From their digital platforms, the creators of the space explain why the name is written “Kame Hause” and not “Kame House.”
“In San Andrés we speak Spanglish and also Creole, our native language. ‘Kame Hause’ is how we say it here, in our own way, with island flavor and cultural pride,” they point out.
