“It is an abuse that the Prosecutor’s Office is carrying out operations all the time in the Government Palace. Not once, twice, three times, for the same event. Is not correct. It is not correct that in Congress it is said that we contribute to political instability. Never in the time that we are in power have we proposed any mechanism to close Congress”, he declared for the media.
Next, the head of the cabinet pointed out that instability is generated from Parliament, due to vacancy requests against the head of state and the constitutional complaint that was raised to disqualify him from public office.
“The one that creates political instability is the body that is working day and night, for more than a year, to hit President Castillo through the vacancy due to moral incapacity, or the disqualification or asking him to resign.”, he expressed.
at another time, Hannibal Torres He said that the Government respects the investigations carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office, but asserted that they will not be subjected to media trials.
“We respect the fiscal investigation, that it be done objectively, respecting due process, the presumption of innocence. That the rights of people be respected. We are not going to subject ourselves to media trials, let that be very clear: we do not submit to media trials, we submit to fiscal or judicial investigation processes”, he emphasized.
