This Tuesday, the Minister of Security Hannibal Fernandez will travel to the city of Rosario to implement the new security plan announced by President Alberto Fernández to combat violence in the region.
The president confirmed that he will send federal forces to the city; In total, there are 1,400 troops that will be presented this Tuesday by Security portfolio holder. This way, Hannibal Fernandez The unified command that will integrate the Federal Police, the Gendarmerie, the Naval Prefecture and the Airport Police will be launched.
It is planned that Hannibal Fernandez trip to Rosario in the morning. Once she arrives in the city, she will share an act with the local authorities and will later meet with the governor of Santa Fe, Omar Perotti.
Meanwhile, Perotti and the mayor of Rosario, Pablo Javkin, celebrated the measures announced by the president to combat violence and crime in the city, which also includes the participation of the Army in the urbanization of popular neighborhoods.
These measures will be added to those that had been announced days ago, such as the signing of an agreement that empowers the security forces of the province to use the SIS (Secure Identification System). In addition to financing for the acquisition of 600 state-of-the-art facial recognition surveillance cameras for the city and the installation of a Financial Information Unit (FIU) command.
The troops, who will be presented today in the city of Santa Fe, will join the 575 who the security minister he sent when he took office in September 2021 and another 425 who transferred in the following months.

In his speech yesterday, the president stated: “We are going to make Rosario recover order, and thus her social life in freedom and security. But, above all, we are going to do justice, we owe it to the victims of the mafias and to the children of the city. We will not allow a single act of impunity.”
