The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) reported that as of Saturday, September 20, 2025, the application of the pilot plan that seeks to improve mobility in the variant of the Bogotá -Villavicencio road. The measure includes the simultaneous functioning of phases 1 and 2, which enable public transport transit and cars. According to the entity, The decision was approved by the monitoring committee and will be accompanied by time controls and traffic regulation points In both ways of the road.

Defined schedules establish that between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, motorcycles, cars, trucks, camperos, two -axle trucks, as well as buses and public transport buses may circulate. Between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am the passage of trucks of categories 5, 6 and 7, that is, vehicles of three or more axes will be allowed.
The control points will be located in different sectors: Villavicencio – Bogotá, at kilometer 85+600 (Llano cute) and at kilometer 72+200 (old to the grass); In Bogotá – Villavicencio, at kilometer 0+000, at the El Uval traffic light, and at kilometer 9+100 (Boquerón 2 control point).
The ANI said that those who do not circulate in the assigned time slot must refrain from staying at the control points. If parked vehicles are detected blocking the corridor, the Transit Authority will impose appearances. In case of road obstruction, the C3 infraction may be applied, with sanctions equivalent to 30 current legal minimum wages.

Exceptions and special measures for loads
The pilot plan includes specific provisions for the transit of extradimensed loads. Exceptionally, and while the measure is in force, Its circulation will be authorized at night, between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am, complying with the provisions of August 3011, 2025. Any load that presents outgoing must be accompanied by escort vehicles, as established in Resolution 4959 of 2006, and in no case may exceed 21 meters in length.
Due to the rising slope, more time is given in the sense Villavicencio – Bogotá, with periods that can go from two to two and a half hours, depending on the length of the line observed by the cameras of the Operational Control Center (CCO). For the descent to Villavicencio, the intervals will be between 30 and 45 minutes, following the same verification procedure.
The ambulances will have a priority of passage at any time and will not be subject to the general schedules, prior coordination with the Transit and Transportation Directorate (Ditra) and the CCO. In contrast, during the night the passage of private vehicles will be completely restricted, including those registered in listings of the region delivered by the mayors.
The exception will apply only to vehicles from municipal and departmental authorities, relief agencies, Public Force, ANI, concessionaire, project audit, Ministry of Transportation, Invías and Supertransporte. These may pass through the control points with prior coordination with the CCO of the concessionaire.
The ANI recalled that interventions on the main road, specifically the removal of material, remain suspended. Therefore, the variant is maintained as the short -term solution mechanism arranged to guarantee mobility in the Bogotá -Villavicencio corridor. The entity said it is necessary to respect the established schedules and share the available space of the rehabilitated infrastructure to maintain agility in the displacements.
