On Wednesday night, the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) guaranteed fuel supply in Santa Cruz and ensured that the 108 service stations are ready for the provision and attention to citizens.
The Vice Minister of Industrialization, Marketing, Transportation and Storage of Hydrocarbons, William Donaire, called for the tranquility of the population before the long lines that were registered during the day at the pumps, which generated speculation, due to a possible shortage.
These rows occurred after the pronouncement of the National Association of Private Hydrocarbon Marketers (Asosur) and on the eve of the blockade set for this Thursday, April 27, by different sectors.
“There can be a situation of chaos when a regulation comes out, and people or social networks show that there will be no (fuel). The supply is guaranteed; Right now we are supplying what Santa Cruz and its provinces require,” Donaire said.
Earlier, and through its social networks, Asosur issued a statement in which an emergency is declared before the promulgation of Supreme Decree 4910which establishes greater control over the sale of fuels.
In this regard, the general of Asosur, Susy Dorado, clarified that, at no time, did they refer to an alleged lack of fuelsince the quantity that is distributed in the stations is established by the ANH.
“We support everything related to the fight against smuggling and fuel diversion; However, what we ask for is the socialization of the decree and that all the resolutions issued are clear,” said Dorado.
The authority called the Government protect the owner’s investment of the service station and that its resolutions do not affect the sectors.
Subsequently, Germán Giménez, executive director of the ANH, announced that will join working groups with Asosur to socialize Supreme Decree 4910.
