The outstanding veterinary professional replaces Dr. Rafael Bienvenido Núñez, who now goes on to provide his services as a veterinary doctor in the Central Region.
The new director of Animal Health of the DIGEGA stressed that she assumes the position with the certainty that she will work for the benefit of the institution and the country.
Dr. Ángela Morillo expressed that she is a tireless worker as she is knowledgeable in the area of animal health.
She is a professional with vast experience in the area of Animal Health, since she specializes in animal reproduction.
Likewise, he has worked for 32 years in the General Directorate of Livestock and has always put his knowledge of animal health at the field level at the service of the institution. Previously, she has served as livestock director of the Central Region.
The veterinary professional has studied in different areas of animal knowledge, including tuberculosis and brucellosis, avian influenza, transboundary diseases, reproduction, animal nutrition, good management practices, animal health emergencies and agricultural marketing.
