After three days of postponement, the in-person hearing was set up this Thursday morning at the Sixth anti-corruption court of the Departmental Court of Justice (TDJ) of La Pazwith the presence of former president Áñez, the governor of Santa Cruz Luis Fernando Camacho and the former president of the Potosinista Civic Committee (Comcipo), Marco Antonio Pumari.

That is, from the day of the resignation of former President Evo Morales until the day Jeanine Añez assumed power. It is not about the violent clashes in Senkata, Sacaba and other regions.

The former president’s defense reiterated that Áñez must be prosecuted in a liability trial as established by the Political Constitution of the State and Law 044, for the trial of the president, vice president, authorities of the Judicial Branch, the Plurinational Constitutional Court and the Public Ministry.

The governor was also transferred Camacho from Chonchocoro and the former leader Pumari, from Potosí.

Meanwhile, lawyer Martin Camacho, defense of Governor Camacho, announced that at the hearing “We are going to prove the governor’s innocence.” and be acquitted of all crimes.”

Hearing behind closed doors
