Aneel reduces red flag level and adjustment may be smaller

The National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) released a note this Wednesday (4) to inform the adjustment of the red flag to level 1. The data was corrected after adjustments to the Monthly Operation Program by the National System Operator (ONS).Aneel reduces red flag level and adjustment may be smaller

In view of this change, ANEEL requested that the Electric Energy Trading Chamber (CCEE) evaluate the information and recalculate the data, which indicated the activation of the red flag level 1.

At this level, R$4.463 will be charged for every 100 kilowatt-hours consumed.

Furthermore, the ANEEL board of directors defined that inspection processes will be established to audit the procedures of the agents involved in defining the PMO and calculating the flags.
