The president of the Chamber of Senators, Andrónico Rodríguez, assured this Monday that he trusts the “solidity” of Bolivian arguments in the litigation over the Silala waters, before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) of The Hague.
The beginning of the oral phase of the process, initiated by Chile, is scheduled for April 1, where the if the tributary was channeled artificially or is a river with an international course.
“We trust in the solidity of the arguments that will be presented by Bolivia, in the good faith of international justice. We are sure that the origins of the waters are springsI am not a river as Chile wants to declare”, affirmed the authority.
confirmed that the president of the Lower House, Freddy Mamani, will accompany the official delegation which will be transferred to the headquarters of the international organization, to witness the exposition of the allegations.
