The Peruvian ex -congressman Andrés Reggiardo Sayán, a recognized political figure and father of the current deputy mayor of Lima, Renzo Reggiardo, died at age 83.
His death was confirmed through a statement published on the social networks of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, where the deep regret was expressed by his departure.
“The Metropolitan Municipality of Lima expresses its deep regret for the sensitive death of Óscar Andrés Reggiardo Sayán, father of our deputy mayor, Renzo Reggiardo”the institution said.

Likewise, the popular renewal bench joined the condolences, sending a message of solidarity to the lieutenant mayor for the loss of his parent.
Andrés Reggiardo Sayán had an outstanding political career in the country. He exercised as a congressman between 1992 and 2001, actively participating in the legislative life of Peru for almost a decade.
In addition, he was founder and president of the political party Peru Patria Seguraorganization that he created with his son Renzo Reggiardowho currently occupies a relevant place in the management of the capital.
