Change of plans. The summons for the Andrea Vidal case, in the Oversight Commission, of the former president of Congress, Alejandro Soto, and of Andrea Vidal’s former friend and current Parliament worker, Isabel Cajo, will be next week.
So far the only confirmed summons is that of Rosita Viky Navarro, the woman who denounced the former head of the Legal and Constitutional Office of Congress, Jorge Torres Saravia, for rape.
She herself has asked to testify on Friday the 24th, as reported Peru21.
Regarding the invitations from Soto and Cajo, the commission initially planned to call them to testify this week. But, there was a change of plans.
The president of the Oversight Commission, Juan Burgos, told this media that Soto could be invited to testify on Wednesday the 15th or Thursday the 16th, but this did not materialize, and his summons will be the following week.
Likewise, this medium reported that the congressman of the aforementioned commission, Carlos Zeballos, indicated that Isabel Cajo was going to be invited to testify this week, but as the sessions were rescheduled, her invitation will be next week.
Soto and Cajo could be summoned to testify on Thursday the 23rd or Friday the 24th, and it is not ruled out that they could coincide on the same day.
CAJO WILL RESPOND IF SOTO HELPED HIM
Peru21 has reported that Cajo, the friend of the murdered former lawyer of the Congressional Legal Advisory Office, and current worker of that entity, will respond if she was recommended by the former president of Congress Alejandro Soto, to sign the special addendum to her contract in April last year, a document that was revealed by parliamentarian Norma Yarrow.
This is because in the text of the addendum – published by Perú21 – it is indicated that the then president of Congress, who was Soto, “authorized” the provision of the addendum to the contract of Isabel Cajo, who had an OnlyFans account.
She will also respond to the alleged theft of her cell phone that, according to her, occurred in Magdalena on December 27, a fact that was flatly denied by the municipality of that district.
Cajo will also answer whether he had authorization from the Human Resources Department or another office on the two trips he made last year, in September to Chile and in November to Spain.
SOTO: “I HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED”
“I have not yet received the notification (from the Oversight Commission), as I told you, I am outside (of Lima); according to what the commission says, I will go or respond in writing (that I be cited as a guest and not investigated), well Oversight “It does not have the power or competence to investigate congressmen; only the Ethics Commission and the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations have this power,” Alejandro Soto told Perú21 today.
Soto has assured Perú21 that he does not know Cajo and has specified that his signature does not appear in the addendum.
Regarding the addendum to the contract revealed by Congresswoman Norma Yarrow – published by Perú21 – in which she indicates that the then president of Congress, who at that time was Soto, “authorized” the provision of the addendum to the contract of Isabel Cajo – who also was an OnlyFans model—answered that his signature “does not exist” in that document.
“What you show is an addendum, not the original contract to know who made it enter, because an addendum is an extension of the term; furthermore, neither my signature nor my signature exists in said document,” he answered at the time.
When asked about what was reported in the media that he had held a meeting with Isabel Cajo before signing his contract, he rejected that version.
“In relation to Mrs. or Miss Cajo, I have not received her in the office, it is false to have met for 50 minutes (with her); for this reason, I am initiating criminal actions to prove these reckless claims,” he indicated.
